Job description :
• Part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-lingual TTS R&D team
• R&D tools development for Text-to-Speech synthesis
• New languages/voices development with linguists
• Technical supervision of studio recordings
• Audio post-processing
Requirements :
• A degree (BSc or MSc) in computer science
• Experience : 0 – 3 Years
• C/C++ expertise
• Perl knowledge is an asset
• Fluent in English
• Interest for languages
• Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate with linguists
• Experience in speech technology software development
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux
• Good knowledge of sound tools is an asset (Adobe Audition, SoundForge,
Wavesurfer, ...)

Job description :
• Member of the PC products team that has the mission to develop speech recognition
and synthesis professional products on high level platforms (both for professional
users and end-users).
This includes :
- Development of new applications and modules on various OS (mainly Windows)
- Improvement of existing modules/products
- Integration of new technology coming from R&D group
- Integration of third party modules
- Packaging
- Customer support and training
Requirements :
• A degree (BSc or MSc) in computer science
• Experience : 0 – 3 Years
• C and C++ expertise
• Other programming languages (C#, Java, ...) and/or .NET development experience
would be helpful
• Interest/experience in standards used in the context of speech applications (SAPI,
XML, VoiceXML, SSML, MRCP, SIP, ...) is an asset
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux (Mac OS X, Solaris, ... is an asset)
• Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate with customers
• Fluent in English

Job description:
• Part of the R&D and linguistic TTS team
• Technical supervision of studio recordings
• Research on emotional speech, comparison of different emotions (French, English,
Dutch and Greek)
• Integration of emotion in the standard TTS system of Acapela
• Close collaboration with the linguistic part of the team
Requirements:
• A degree (BSc or MSc) in computer science
• Experience : 0 – 3 Years
• C/C++ expertise
• Good Perl knowledge is an asset
• Interest for languages
• Experience in speech technology software development
