Gear2Voice from PineWood Electronics and Acapela makes waiting constructive and enjoyable.

PineWood Electronics, a company specialising in software and hardware for telephone music and on hold messages, has chosen Acapela’s Virtual Speaker to voice empower and personalise telephone on hold messages and company audio and video message transmission devices.

The Gear2Voice solution from PineWood Electronics, which uses Virtual Speaker, Acapela’s high quality text to speech technology, unbranded, makes waiting an active and intelligent, effective and attractive process.

Gear2Voice forms part of a system that personalises messages transmitted when on hold on the telephone or when waiting in person at reception in the case of company message transmission devices. The solution comes with a number of messages pre-recorded using the text to speech technology to give an idea of the end result, and is available in 20 languages.

Gear2Voice also complements the PineWood Studio product, making it possible to mix on hold music. A total of 11 royalty-free tracks are supplied as standard, with recorded messages created based on text or, through Gear2Voice, supplied with Acapela’s text to speech solution.

These messages can then be used in telephone on hold systems, on websites or in company reception devices.
