Perax, a company specilalizing in the design, development and manufacture of remote management systems, has chosen Acapela Group Unit to enable alert management using TTS in their industrial applications and therfore improve the speed of on-site intervention.
Perax's automatic systems ensure remote surveillance, management and control of technical installations. The system can acquire, process and transfer data from the site under surveillance, and allows to check graphs, logs, etc. in real time.
Using a few simple parameters, the computer defines the events on which the automatic remote management system should contact the personnel on call. 6 telephone numbers can be memorized, and programmed depending on the time of day and type of event.
With Acapela Group Unit, Perax has created a real-time link with the on-call personnel, to provide them with up-to-date and precise alert message contents, for faster and more efficient action.
Acapela Group Unit is a full multilingual vocal interface between the information system and the telephone, and can read any text out loud. As a seperate component designed for surveillance systems, Acapela Group Unit can be adapted to any system with a serial connection without affecting its efficiency.
