Designed by teachers and tested by children, MyBlee is a super-interactive educational app for students in elementary and middle school. MyBlee speaks, explains, encourages and congratulates, through adapted exercises based on play.
Acapela’s synthetic voice vocalises the content and helps create a speaking, lively, very effective interface which is immediately adopted by young iPad users who converse with MyBlee entirely autonomously and at their own pace. They immediately hear the answer to a calculation, or a spelling, or another problem which has been set. The synthetic voice is clear and as intelligible as it is natural. The application also uses handwriting and voice recognition to create a real exchange with the young user.
In addition to interactivity, one of MyBlee’s guiding principals is respect for the natural rhythm and level of understanding of the child. Everything is done to ensure children progress at their own pace. In the exercises, difficulties such as response time adapt in line with the child’s progress and acquired knowledge. This individual and specially tailored learning promotes autonomy, while at the same time offers parents a dedicated space to follow and better encourage their child.
Two modules are available and included in the application on the Apple appstore: ‘recognise shapes’& ‘multiply by 10, 100, 1000’. Other modules will soon be available as in-app purchase, at 1,99 USD.
