Lars-Erik Larsson appointed as Acapela Group’s new Chief Executive Officer

Acapela Group, worldwide player in innovative voice solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lars-Erik Larsson to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Larsson, who was appointed Acapela VP Sales Director in 2004, will take on the role of CEO with immediate effect and replaces Vincent Fontaine who has decided to pursue activities in another field.

The new CEO brings more than 20 years of operational experience to the company, currently one of the most innovative players in the text-to-speech sector. Formerly VP Sales Director and Chief Operating Officer at Acapela Sweden, Lars-Erik aims to build on the company’s development worldwide.

With an impressive business growth record in the IT industry, Lars-Erik Larsson has worked with organisations such as Unisys and GlobalOne. He joined the speech technology industry in 1999 as Senior Director at L&H and Babel, where he was responsible for establishing and developing the company’s presence in the Nordic region, as well as managing sales and marketing operations in this area.
