Infovox Desktop is the voice that makes your computer speak and your life easier. Infovox Desktop is an open SAPI text-to-speech engine that lets you access your computer through your favourite screen reader, screen magnifier or any other application supporting speech.
How to install the Infovox Desktop demo version
The demo version of Infovox Desktop v2.220 will grant you a 30 days license. Under these 30 days you will have complete access to all functionalities of the product.
Installation instructions:
- Download the engine (under Step 1)
- Install the engine by launching the downloaded file and following the instructions on screen.
- Download the voices you are interested to test (under Step 2). Download of the voices has been kept separate and not grouped by language to avoid extremely large downloads.
- Install each voice by launching the downloaded file and following the instructions on screen.
Step 1
To install Infovox Desktop V2.220, you will first need to download the Infovox Desktop v2.220 engine:

Step 2
After having installed the engine in Step 1 here above, you can now choose which voices to install.
Please note that several of the voice packages do not include all the available voices for that language, just a selection. This was necessary to keep the download to a reasonable size. To obtain a demonstation DVD including all available voices, please contact any of our distributors.

Engine update
After the release of Infovox Desktop v2.220 we have issued few updates that are now all collected in the Infovox Desktop Service Pack 3. We recommend to download it and install it for improved performances.

September 2010 - Release of Finland Swedish and Service Pack 3
We are proud to annouce the release of Samuel, our first Finland Swedish voice for Infovox Desktop v2.220.
We also released a Service Pack 3 that fixes few issues with Infovox Desktop v2.220.
Both Samuel and Service Pack 3 are available from the download page of Infovox Desktop.
