What's new in Infovox Desktop PRO v2.2

Full compatibility with Windows Vista
Licensing is now per language and no longer per voice. The new voice packages include all voices for a language plus the high quality American English voice Heather. Multilingual voice packages are available for multilingual Countries like Belgium and Switzerland.
New high quality voices added: Peter (UK English), Alice (French), Louise (Canadian French), Rosa
(American Spanish), and Nelly and Kenny, two child voices for American English.
The voice Sjurdur (Faroese) is also available.
The product is now distributed on a single DVD containing all voices. Braille text is printed both on the DVD cover
and the DVD disc to make it easier for all our blind friends to handle the product.

How to install the Infovox Desktop PRO demo version

The demo version of Infovox Desktop v2.2 will grant you a 30 days license. Under these 30 days you will have complete access to all functionalities of the product.

Installation instructions:

Download the engine (under Step 1)
Install the engine by launching the downloaded file and following the instructions on screen.
Download the voices you are interested to test (under Step 2). Download of the voices has been kept separate and not grouped by language to avoid extremely large downloads.
Install each voice by launching the downloaded file and following the instructions on screen.

To install Infovox Desktop V2.2, you will first need to download the Infovox Desktop v2.2 engine:

After having installed the engine in Step 1 here above, you can now choose which voices to install.

There are two different level of quality for the voices.

PRO voices offer highest quality and intelligibility and require more disk space.
Standard voices use an older technology that require less disk space but provide higher flexibility
