Acapela Telecom transforms any text into natural speech, reading it out loud with the flexibility and richness of natural sounding speech.

It speaks multiple languages and reads proper names, numbers and currencies for optimal restitution of information. Thanks to its highly sophisticated pre-processing module, Acapela Telecom also perfectly converts emails, HTML or RTF content.

Acapela Telecom is designed for network telecom applications, from single host solutions to distributed architectures. Acapela Telecom’s unique API is cross operating systems and available over all configurations. It can be integrated once and deployed in all types of configurations without any extra engineering effort. The client and the server can run locally or remotely with a direct connection or IP based connection, enabling transparent extension or re-architecturing. Any client (Windows & Linux) can be connected to any server, allowing a highly flexible architecture.

Acapela Telecom is an efficient TTS server, providing lower hardware investment with maximum efficiency. A single processor PIV 2,4 Ghz is able to run up to 50 simultaneous TTS sessions with any combination of languages and voices. For larger deployments Acapela Telecom supports multi-server architecture with clustering.

Acapela Telecom is a multi-channel engine, perfectly optimised for mono and multi-processor systems and includes a distributed mode enabling very large deployments based on a cluster of servers. Up to 100 servers can be viewed as a single TTS resource from the application thanks to a load balancing mechanism handling and distributing all application requests.

Acapela Telecom’s cross-platform API and client-server architecture allow for fast time to market when porting to new platforms and OS’s.

Designed to run 24/7, a supervising process checks for stale instances or locked processes and manages to re-load or terminate unreleased tasks providing permanent full availability. In a multi-server configuration, Acapela Telecom is remotely administrable and load balanced to ensure perfect availability of TTS resources for applications.
