Solutions for Developers : Software development kits
The SDK's are designed to integrate speech functions within applications. A developer license is included with the SDK. This license can be used internally, or can be re-sold, but in no case does this SDK allow for the redistribution of speech applications. The SDK license is protected with a key (hardware for Acapela Telecom and Acapela Multimedia, software for Acapela Mobility)
Redistribution
In order to re-distribute the speech engine with your application, you can work with two approaches:
- Order additional licenses case by case and resell with your product.
- Enter into a licensing agreement, allowing you to copy and ship the engine with your product. This is the best solution if you have large volumes or clear forecasts. To obtain a licensing proposal, please contact us with an overview of your sales forecast - a minimum commitment is required to enter into a licensing agreement.
Discounts
We can propose discounts on volumes purchased in a single order. We can also propose discounted prices with volume commitments materialized by an up-front payment.

What's included in the price ?
Acapela Telecom SDK
The SDK is delivered with one or two languages of your choice and a 4 channel capacity. An evaluation copy is available with a 30 day limitation - for a longer evaluation period or for specific testing like load testing for example, we will offer you a loan agreement. Acapela Telecom is available for Windows or Linux.
Acapela Multimedia SDK
The SDK is delivered with all our languages and one developer license for one computer, for Windows or Mac OS X.
Acapela Mobility SDK
The SDK is delivered with all our languages and one developer license for one computer, for Windows Mobile, Linux or Symbian.
Acapela Onboard
Acapela Onboard is our specific offer for Automotive needs.
The Acapela Onboard Portfolio includes Operating Systems like WinCE, Linux, Symbian, QNX, VxWare, etc. and on various hardware platforms.
